Reality TV

"When casting Survivor, you try to build the most drama through personality. It’s not building through script; but building through personality." - Leslie Moonves, Executive

Reality TV describes series that present loosely scripted or unscripted situations with the intent to entertain, i.e. hidden-camera, court TV, or season-long competition programs.

Reality tv was cerated with the same intent that the gladiator games were cerated for. Just another vapid distraction from the real issues, in the real world. I'll stick with the likes of Glee and True Blood Good article. 0
